In this session, I’ll share my personal journey of building SAP solution add-ons over the years, beginning with a data visualisation plugin for SAP Design Studio, to developing a Fiori-style analytics app on SAP HANA Express, to building a consumer-grade, multi-tenant SaaS application on SAP Business Technology Platform.

This isn’t a technical deep dive — although I’ll share key design decisions along the way — but rather an honest story of innovation, experimentation, and community-driven learning. It’s a journey through the evolution of SAP technology, and more importantly, a reflection on how exploration, collaboration, and perseverance can shape what we choose to build.

Whether you’re a developer, architect, product builder, SAP enthusiast, or simply someone drawn to what unfolds when creativity meets code, this session invites you to pause, connect, and perhaps be inspired to follow your own ideas — guided by courage, community, and a curious mind.
